The GP surgery is providing excellent services meeting needs

Since I registered with woodlands health centre, I have nothing to commit about. Hope the GP surgery will continue it good work. I feel centred in my medical needs and respected and always get make my worries much less. The GP surgery is also good keeping it patients updated with their appointments. The staff are friendly and helpful and always wanting to help.

I'm sad to leave the health centre due to moving

I believe most /any issues anyone can have would be issues with the NHS austerity and not this centre. The staff are friendly and informative. Especially the sexual health specialist. You book appointments the night before online at 9pm or 10pm when the appointment times become available. At times it was frustrating not being able to book in advance, but I was always able to book an appointment the night before. Also, you can ring early in the morning (after 8am)to try and book one. Although be prepared to listen to classical music for a while as the poor reception team must be so overworked with phone calls from many patients. I once rang the receptionist not long before they closed with an issue and she worked so hard for me, spoke to a GP, ran my prescription down to the pharmacy for me, rang me back, all at the end of the day. I am so thankful. One day I hope the NHS will get the money it needs and all the staff get the pay and respect they deserve for being so hard working. Tha nk you Woodlands

Massive Improvements

The service has improved a great deal, from long wait times in surgery, long wait times on the phone. But the service has improved a great dea.yhank you all

A service well delivered

I transferred to Woodlands from another local surgery a year ago and I can honestly say that at Woodlands I have received a 100% better service. Yes, there is still difficulty with getting telephone appointments but between the on-line and on the day 8.30am walk-in bookings, my needs have been met. The reception waiting area is not over crowded and chaotic and the reception staff so far have been polite, professional and have not acted like all important gate keepers, the likes of which I have experienced at other surgeries. With the exception of one, who tried to push pills at me rather than providing a proper solution, all the doctors have been excellent. They have taken the time to listen, explain and provide reasonable advise. I even managed to get a referral letter turned around in 24hrs, ( my previous surgery was 10 days and a lot of begging). All in all so far a service well delivered.
