Travel Vaccinations
Our practice nurses are available by appointment to offer medical advice regarding travel and vaccinations where appropriate. Please telephone reception to book an appointment. Please bring with you the completed Travel Risk Assessment form to give to the nurse who will produce a personalised vaccination schedule for you.
Please fill out our online Travel Questionnaire prior to your appointment:
Please be aware that there may be a charge for the vaccinations - to check, please contact the surgery before your appointment. This can only be confirmed once the nurse has seen your questionnaire and ascertained which vaccinations are required.

Do plan ahead - don't leave your vaccinations until the last minute. Please allow at least three weeks before you travel.
We are a registered Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre for any patients, whether registered here or not. There is a charge for this vaccination.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
Find further information about countries and vaccinations required via the Fit For Travel website
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
